Friable Asbestos Removal for a Boiler Room Challenges and Process
Due to a planned refurbishment, our regular client contact PRO Environmental and engaged our services for asbestos removal in a boiler room.
A boiler room is a very specific environment and not easy to clean due to dust accumulated on surfaces over the years. The main challenge on this job was enclosure construction due to the height of the roof needed, which had to be built at 5 metres in height. We are experts in this type of environment. The project was estimated to be about ten days, but still completed in just eight.
Friable Asbestos Removal Conclusion
We were very happy with the result achieved. Our team is highly trained and has great experience with this type of work, and we didn’t have any problems achieving a four-stage clearance assessment with a client-appointed independent assessor just from the first enclosure inspection.
Surface test and air monitoring were conducted straight after visual inspection and all results were satisfying.
The team at PRO Environmental Services is trained to test, remove and dispose of asbestos safely and securely. Our team is highly trained to ensure any works we undertake are completed in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.
