Asbestos Removal Supervisor

PRO Environmental Services Ltd is currently looking for an experienced Supervisor to assist with the management of friable and non-friable asbestos removal projects. The role involves managing Asbestos Removal Operatives whilst being fully compliant with all H&S and Asbestos regulations. The majority of the works will be in the Wellington region.

Responsibilities

  • Managing teams of approximately 1- 8 operatives.
  • To fully understand and follow the site-specific Safe System of Works whilst carrying out works on site.
  • Ensuring all works are being carried out to a high standard and comply with all H&S regulations.
  • Provide a regular progress report back to the Manager.
  • To deliver a professional service throughout project commencement and project completion.
  • Completion of the site required paperwork.

Salary and Bonuses We are offering competitive pay based on a 9-hour day that will correspond with your qualifications and experience.

Salary: $93,600.00-$110,000.00 per year

Asbestos Removal Operative

Description

PRO Environmental Services Ltd currently have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Asbestos Removal Operative to work within the asbestos removal industry. The majority of the works will be in Wellington. We carry out removals in domestic dwellings, industrial and commercial buildings. No qualifications or previous experience of the role is required as you will receive full training, mentoring, medical, face fits.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the supervisor, contracts manager and experience operatives.
  • Ensuring all works are being carried out to a high standard and complying with all H&S regulations.
  • Carry out all site works in accordance to the plan of works, method statement and risk assessment.
  • You will work within the company policies and procedures to ensure achievement and maintenance of accreditations.
  • Assist with the construction/decontamination/deconstruction of asbestos enclosures.
  • Removal and disposal of both friable and non-friable asbestos containing materials such as garage roofs, textured coatings, floor tiles, bitumen adhesives, board, pipe lagging.
  • To deliver a professional service throughout.
