This project involved the removal of identified asbestos materials within a residential fire damaged property.

Working with fire damaged properties can be an especially delicate task. Fire can release asbestos fibres and spread them around a wide area, so professionals must be extra careful when cleaning up to ensure that asbestos-containing materials are well contained.

Asbestos Removal for Damaged Properties Process

We removed damaged items, all rubbish and debris, electrical elements, ceilings, mechanical extraction elements, and all asbestos materials. We also took out all fixtures and fittings, including heavyweight items such as stainless steel cookers, claddings and worktops. Finally, we removed all ceramic tiling in the kitchen and the PVCu plumbing.

This work ensures that other professionals can safely enter the site and begin reconstruction, so the tenants or homeowners can move back in sooner rather than later.
